A Poem

I just don't know what you gain

From broadcasting their pain

Then crying those crocodile tears

When the unthinkable becomes real

You dissect them like an autopsy

Then mock them for their therapy

Plaster their pain on paper

Then call out the haters

Whether it's truth or lie

It doesn't cross your mind

You make a show of their woes

Then applaud their vulnerability like you're heroes

I don't understand the industry

Of shining a light on someone else's misery

They just wanted to sing, act, perform

But then you took that away

And made their earth a hellish home.
