Missing the Forest

I look to the heavens in search of a sign

The Lord said, “We go through this every time”

I steady my camera to capture this spot

But once again birds had to ruin my shot

Lovecraft horror is mostly seen as cosmic horror, or the fear of the unknown. This kind of horror focuses on mankind going insane upon witnessing the most messed up horror imaginable, either consisting of monsters or other worlds that the human race does not belong.
