Eyes On Me

Attention Seeking

There’s got to be more past my intrusive thoughts

The sabotaging behavior after all the shots

I’m lost without you, it’s not fine

Stuck attention seeking all the time

Stay in love with me, keep your eyes right here

Even when distance draws you away, my dear

You grow apart from me, as if a part of you may fade

Keep your energy locked in my love, as though I’d stayed

My eyes are stuck on the curve of your lips, that radiant smile

For your beautiful face I’d walk through the Nile

Even though this life has left us a heavy toll

I don’t want anything keeping me from your delicate soul

No jail or country could close my heart

So I keep on going as I did from the start

I’ll be right there once I’m home, wait for me by the door

It won’t be long now, I’ll be hugging you forever more

Aww beautiful and kind of worried some ( if the love not wanted). Many have felt this way about someone.
