fire in my belly
Fire in my brain
Fire in my hands
Fire in my head
There’s fire everywhere
But where is it
In my guts?
I am in a rush of time,
Exploring your endless ways to
Stoke my flames,
Invoke my fury,
Invoke my pained flaming
Twisted, squirming
Guts
* * *
Fire on my toes,
It is catching up,
Up to my eyes
It settles in my
Stare.
Explosions
Lit up by your matched safe-house latched key dreams, painted in a dreamy hued stain
And inside is
Fury,
Pain,
You could kill me right now,
Dearest One, And
I would not complain.
Fire guts
Plenty
In my heart,
I stuck you inside,
Like a piece of beautifully colored glass,
It melted in my mouth first,
Honeyed downward,
An explosion
A beautiful pain,
Settling as I am swollen with the idea of you,
There your fire-gut words go,
Semi sweet, tart.
