Every New September
Sunshine gold was her soul poetry prompt*
Seasons are never ending
They come and pass
To make memories of what they hand me;
The heat of a summer,
Should I run more? If, what should I run for?
Go! Go somewhere I can dive
deep waters are calling me
make the sun go deep in me.
to pick someone or
go with those who want to,
matters not?
Spring breeze,
Should I try dancing in the rain for once?
If, to forget everything and smile as I do.
Go! Go dance, spin, twirl, leap, hop
at the edge, we've always been on the edge
Go! dare, there are people out there.
A cold winter,
Ah! My morphine. A addictive display of contrast,
we don't change, do we?
to go towards a thing and complain to what it brings,
Alone and loneliness, are they different?
Ah! Painful peace, but why do we choose it?
Go! Go somewhere a fire can live in a snow storm
in there, there's a chance you won't be caught
Here comes September,
even leaves can feel the weight of it all
Fall, we all fall.
there's always a ground to catch us
there's always a place somewhere for fallen ones
Lucky are they who get picked up, most said
either for art or some use
There is a moment before the fall,
where the leaves can finally show their other colors
green is good, it is useful
stripped of their use, they become something else.
We could be something else and still be wonderful.
like leaves in September.
