I used to know the curve of your hips,

and the poetry of your waist

Such a long time now I wouldn't even recognise your face

Mind over matter?

A fall from Grace?

All I know is without you

I don't like this place

All the changes you made in me

mean nothing

If all you did was eventually leave

I used to love the taste of your lips,

and the complexity of your mind

So far off now I don't know what I'm searching to find

Your face?

Mind over matter?

A fall from Grace?

All I know is without you

I don't like this place

All the changes you made in me

mean nothing

If all you did was eventually leave

sad poetry
