The touch of fresh air

Blowing through the trees

The feel of a cooling wave

Upon my feet, cooling sand underneath

From the breeze of seas

Against my face

The sight of endless mountains

I will never forget

The rustling of leaves

With the sound of singing birds

The taste of sweet berries

On a secret pathway

The smell of wildflowers

With an array of colors

The colors of sunsets over the seas

Disappearing for another day

Oh, the great beauty of nature

Taking me away from the angst of the day

To the nightmare of the working day

nature poetry

About the Creator

Sarah Danaher

I enjoy writing for fun. I like to write for several genres including fantasy, poetry, and dystopian, but I am open to trying other genres too. It has been a source of stress relief from my busy life.
