Ephemeral Epiphanies

Ephemeral epiphanies ricochet off stalactite statues in ebbing night.

Cavern cautiously creeps through chatoyant calls and oscillations.

Drippy nose of cave forgets to apologize when sneeze sound stifles the situation and monumental silence.

Torch is lit and it proves to be fit as a fiddle at first, but then it wanes like the moon or cheese in the clutches of vermin.

Labyrinth lends to lagoon-side, ready for kayaks slicing the water like a seasoned knife on butter.

Treasure sought and shared through soulful conversations, as wide eyes glint, aroused from remaining torch flames.

This is like an adventure wrapped in poetry. Now I’m craving a kayak trip… and maybe some cheese.🙃
