Day may have light, but she craves Night's mystery,

Night may have serenity, but she yearns for Day's wonder,

Day may have music, but she craves Night's lullaby,

Night may have isolation, but she yearns for Day's acceptance,

Day may have color, but she craves Night's simplicity,

Night may have dreams, but she yearns for Day's memories,

Both move in their own time,

Both follow their own path,

Both listen,

Both see,

Both feel,
