The clock ticks slowly, ::Tick, Tock. Tick, Tock:: as the cars are rushing down the water coated road ::whoosh, whish, whoosh::

On their hurry to make it home and find shelter in the nearing thunderstorm, they pass our corner abode without noticing us.

Thunderstorm days are meant to be slow. Snuggling inside with loved ones, reading books, and listening to the rain drip from the gutter into a small pool that's gathered next to the window ::ping, ping, ping::

::Rumbles:: Rolling thunder echoes through the foggy mist. A lightening bolt shoots across the dreary skies ::Crack!:: and Time seems to awaken from its dreamy slumber.

Outside, time is fast, time is communal, time is being one with nature. Inside, time is slow, time is intimate, time is being one with yourself.

We must be present in both states. Two sides of time we all share within our universe.
