Dancing Under Moonlight

Dancing on the soft emerald grass,

tall and wild needing a shave.

First stepping lightly,

then a fast paced stomp.

Two rabbits hop playfully

creating their own beat.

The winds carry away my worries

to an unseen realm.

Sun is settling into darkness.

The howling breeze

enhances the primal atmosphere.

No other sound may be heard.

My feet are silent

as I twist, turn, jump and fall.

My hair blinds me as it whips around

following the currents.

My body is not my own.

I sway with each gust

letting it blow through me with vigor;

absorbing the energy it provides.

No clouds, no stars in the sky,

only a lone full moon saying,

"How do you feel?"

I feel blessed to be alive.
