Energy Flow

Verse 1

By The SonPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

I often wonder how my friend will come,

An introductory dance,

Will he send an invitation in the form of a lump, a rare disease, or a tumor?

Will my memory start to fade,

Will food not meet my lips by my own spoon?

***

I hope not though...............

***

Tis be my greatest sleepless wonder don't take away my Einstein that I beg,

And maybe not my breast I have grown attached to the pair,

Ooh, I know,

But I wonder still,

Will you greet me like a thief in the night with only the burglary of my soul,

Will my heart skip a beat on a random west side street,

SKIP................SKip.................skip

***

Like the keys on an ending symphony,

Will your energy flow Sakamoto be my good morrow in my ear while I slip away in my rocking chair my chest having failed the test of time.

***

Grey warm in the sun my skin shines,

You know what they say about us Negros.

***

Will a speeding light be my end and if so to what end?

Will my teeth fall long before my Children grow long before I,

No more silence dear friend send me a warning in time.

***

Be it not I to come in search of you one razor at a time,

Talk to me lover and with whispered fresh breath tell me slowly..............tell me nicely............

Will you kiss me goodbye I know you a cheater yet I look you still,

Soften your embrace for me and give me a clock.................a bird on the wall..........give me space

Let my womb grow and raise their eggs,

Let me witness my incubator and hers mirthful.

***

Allow small mercy to prove my little breath called upon an audience, an auditorium of applause,

Arena full of praise,

Then I give you my bones lover and may kiss you back with acceptance,

And adoration,

Release,

A couple of decades had in merry like carols on the day,

Be it known you loved me better than the rest they shall say.
