Part 1 - Winglessly Wrought
Years of mildly acidic reactions in my stomach from the over consumption of various energy drinks has fused a portion of my DNA with the soft metals I have ingested in my time on this planet to create a Gastrobot.
It looks like a tick made out of dulcet toned tin foil, about the same size; all covered in nasty little claws and spikes.
It resides in the upper section of my lower colon and it pinches my shit pipe with its nippy bitey little claws whenever I feel good.
I'm constipated AND starved of happy thoughts.
I'm hoping Aliens might melt my head with a futuristic sci-fi type ray gun, that'd be neat!
It's either that or I'm gonna have to curse then obey my alarm clock some more.
Part 2: ________
Meanwhile
i haven't got an actual plan
i got the change in my hand
another shady soft drink scam
cooked on carbonised
over the counter
carcinogenic chemicals in a can
warmed on a dashboard
of Melbourne autumn sun
the summing of the nothings
has just about begun
a trigger
is just a
part of
a gun
fucked up on a face full of fleeting fizzy fun
i aint got no kind of feeling words
a mere smattering of simple verbs
trying to avoid the flocks, the herds
hopped up on over hyped healing herbs
it's not a party, it’s not even a dance
it's a liquidly regressive, possessive lack of advance
not even gonna get not even half a chance
sipping seductively soliloquised sugary sustenance
what its done:
don't need to know
all this stuff:
don’t need to show
what do i want?
i just need to go
agitated on ambiently animated Acids and Co.
.
The last song you heard!

Doo Wa Diddy … Manfred Mann. 🎵😂🎵😂🎵 This is quite a random bite, or drink, of fun Brenton. Welcome back from the bush mate. 👍
I have never drank any of those energy drinks. I’m afraid of them. You poem brought so many of the reasons why I fear them. Good writing hat hits on the head of reality.
