Endless Rain

Memoirs of a Starving Artist

By Xxavier RobertsonPublished 7 years ago 1 min read

Endless in Nature, and devoid of feeling the rain empties its clouds out

Sparing no cry, yielding to no shout

The rain of life and the actual rain are beyond anything I've ever seen.

They are endless, unrelenting, and quite bluntly disrespectful and I dare say mean.

As the hopeful light pierces through the clouds, the rain intensifies as to say "Good try"

Then sends a thunderclap to greet us at an attempt to say "Hello, when we all rather it utter "Goodbye"

Raindrops land on your head and face

The rain beats up on the cars and houses

Raindrops soak your soul and thoughts

The rain weighs down your dreams and douses

Any attempt to light a fire, or see the light.

Any attempt to get inspired or fight.

As artistic as that is we all know the rain never gave a damn, nor cares about any of those things

As you can see the rain is a selfless unbiased being

The rain doesn't care, the rain never relents, the rain performs its task

The rain is neither arrogant nor does it have an ego for in which it must bask

The rain is nothing more than molecules that fall down to us on Earth

Isn't crazy how we believe the rain would work against our ambitions to increase our worth?

Endless in Nature, and devoid of feeling the rain empties its clouds out

Sparing no cry, yielding to no shout

Let not your mind toil on how to defeat the rain, as nobody has succeeded.

Many years, many cycles, we are still wet after many days of sun we pleaded.

The Rain rains on all, as life is a cycle, as the rain pours down now, one day it will stop.

And when that day comes, make you remember all the lesson learned by the every rain drop
