I was there for it..
the moment it couldn’t hold on anymore..
..not one more second.
After months on end of growth, change,
countless nights and days of sun and storm..
IT LET GO.
Maybe not by choice,
maybe not by chance.
But a mixture of both.
It had tears, it had cracks,
it had holes, it was grey.
Life had left it but the signs had not..
There was light in the lines.
ENDLESS CONNECTIONS.
All leading back to the start of it all...
A chance for new,
a chance for green.
It wasn’t the perfect leaf, no..
...but it was ME.
