you see enchanting green eyes, with flecks of gold
there is a story behind them, and it's often untold
these eyes show serenity but they see other's tears
these eyes help me feel other's pain and other's fears
for all of those mistreated, I will stand and I will fight
in this dark sorrowful world, these eyes will show me light
there is some hope for our future that these eyes can see
kindness and compassion for all living creatures is my plea
for now, the fire burning within me will be left uncontrolled
you see enchanting green eyes, with flecks of gold
