Longing for silence

Sound is something I no longer yearn to hear.

I thought I'd always love the pitter patter of little feet.

Longtime now, home I'd wish they weren't there.

Everytime I'd think or sleep or try to eat.

Never would I hate them or say they have to leave.

Cause I truly love them with all my heart.

Everyday though there's trick upon my sleeve I meant it when I said that death do us part.
