empty days and stolen days

distractions

sometimes i feel so empty

i fill up my days with distractions

what else is life for

i ask myself endlessly

what should i be doing with my empty time

the only time that has meaning is the time that's not mine

i can't think of anything else when the time is not mine

when the time is yours, i fill it up with thoughts of that and that alone

somehow that's easier than the time that's mine

the time that is somehow worthless

the time that is filled with distractions

to keep me thinking of the time that's yours
