Emperor Of Danger

6. Young, dumb, yet you know yourself and how life is going to be short. So why not?

Neon light and coins popping out of wallets

I wanna buy fangs and let the blood run through my tongue

Death is my roommate, he knows me too well when I go out in the night

Smoke wrapped my legs, poison embedded in my chest, yet I feel alive

Everyone expects a hero with morals and honor

But what about a person who has nothing to lose?

Willing to put everything on the line with nothing to gain

Who will believe a dog chasing cars?

Can you see in a hero's eyes the thrill of success and failure?

No, you have to be crazy to be satisfied with the outcomes

But here I am finally feeling liberated with these demons

It's everything I dream for, thousands of words fleeting

I can see myself in mirrors and window panes

Let me outta of here

Hold my throat and break me into shards

Feel my heartbeat fade for a moment

These strikes you are doing are nothing

You're knocking on a shallow coffin

But that's the best part

I can't escape and neither can you

So watch me on the edge

Bathing in kerosene

Question where am I going

Because I don't know, but I do wanna know one day

But for now, I'm a different king

With no crown but prepared for war

I'll take hope from your eyes and make it mine

My will is stronger than any legion

Because I didn't have any to begin with

But I will bestow on you my ruin

Then whisper in your ear once everything is my dwelling

"When will I be somebody strong?"
