The stage is set, and the curtains are heavy

Anxiety whispers, but my courage is louder

The drums are beating with my heart

I can hear the feet of thousands shake and shuffle

One second to impress and another to kill

Seeing the spotlight searching for our shadows,

I can feel the fire, the freedom, all of this taking over me

The curtains flip and the masks are on

Swords are flying as I open my arms and they go wild

I am the stylish man facing against the odds,

Knowing the faces in of the past in the crowd

I will bring them back to life, from the graves that hold them tight

Protect them from the demons that are outside

Lashing and dashing, trying to find their way in

But all they will find is me, a burning, dying light

Bringing memories to old broken corpse

A showdown stirring and catching my breath,

To be more than a star

This will be the greatest show in the everlasting night
