Empathy, oh how you’re sought,

Softens hearts and blooms a flower.

In understanding comes the path,

To mend the wounds of sorrow's wrath.

A feeling so deeply held within,

Move us toward where others have been.

In their shoes we take a step,

And through their eyes we wiped the tears.

A shoulder to lean on, a hand to hold,

In empathy we show the love so bold.

It's not just words, but a heartfelt voice,

That echoes in the hearts of all who rejoice.

Empathy you teach us to care,

To reach out, to love and to be fair.

For in this world, we all need to see,

The kindness and love in humanity.

Show empathy every day,

And spread compassion in every way.

For in this world, it's the one thing we need,

To heal the world and plant the seed.
