Emotions

The mornings sun engulfs my body,
Releasing from somewhere deep inside, hope!
Hope that I'd Lost so long ago.
A feeling I never expected would return.
For I had invested All of me in a person,
Which she has abandoned, ignoring all our Days of pleasure.
I had thought without her, I could not carry on.
That It would be better to die, than live alone.
But as I simmered in my sorrow, a fairy paid me a visit.
She told me of a love I had, one I had never tasted.
It was then that I realized, April!
How could I have ever forgotten? That smile.
I truly, I had never forgotten you.
Life simply took me on such a voyage,
That causes one to lose sight of the things
You truly love and care for.
That morning when I first saw your reply,
April, you brought back to life, everything inside of me.
My food tasted better, my thoughts were quite clearer,
The grass grew greener. You reminded me,
Of what it is truly like to be in love.
And while it is true, I am a fool for love.
It is equally true, I wish to be a fool for you!
For having you, I need nothing else.
In you I see forever, I see life, love, happiness and companionship.
