Embracing Freedom
A Poem on the Boundless Spirit of the World

The air hums with a gentle rebellion,
as if the earth has sighed and let go.
A river unwinds, its surface split by light,
mirroring skies that stretch untamed.
Each blade of grass quivers, alive,
holding secrets no one can keep.
Here, time forgets its own weight,
its ticking smothered by wind’s wild hymn.
Mountains bend the sunlight into golden arcs,
their jagged edges softened by the dusk,
as if even stone knows how to yield.
But wait—
A shift, subtle yet searing,
like breath drawn after drowning.
The earth tilts, and for a moment,
the horizon tilts with it—boundless.
I run. I stop. I breathe, and the air is mine.
No chains of doubt nor walls of fear,
just the untamed pulse of the world,
offering itself in fragments and wholeness,
until I am not separate, but part of it,
alive in the rush of endless possibility.
