Embers of Eternity
Igniting the Heart's Fire Through Life's Seasons

In the stillness of winter’s first gentle breath,
The world is cloaked in a shroud of soft death.
Snowflakes drift like whispered secrets from the skies,
Each one a hidden truth, an embrace in disguise.
The trees, now stripped bare, reach skyward to the night,
Their branches glimmer softly in the cold moonlight.
The wind hums a melody from ages long past,
Tales of love and loss, of the brave and steadfast.
Beneath the flickering hearth, shadows softly retreat,
The warmth of the fire pulses with a tender heartbeat.
Each flame cradles memories, dancing in time,
Flickers of joy that weave a rhythm, a rhyme.
The tree stands adorned, a radiant beacon of cheer,
Its lights twinkle like stars, chasing away fear.
Ornaments gleam with stories yearning to be told,
Echoes of laughter, both treasured and bold.
Children’s voices rise, like bells ringing clear,
Singing carols of hope that dispel every fear.
Their faces glow brightly, like constellations high,
Dreams twinkle in their eyes, reaching beyond the sky.
The scent of fresh pine dances with warming spice,
A fragrance of home, inviting and nice.
In the kitchen, love simmers, spreading its grace,
A banquet of memories, where joy finds its place.
Outside, the winds rage, fierce and wild,
But within these walls, love is tenderly beguiled.
For in every heart, where love takes its stride,
Winter’s storm cannot shatter what’s held deep inside.
A child’s laughter, pure and so bright,
Pierces the darkness, a beacon of light.
In this sacred season, we find our embrace,
Bound by our love in this hallowed space.
So let the winds howl, let the cold winds blow,
For in the warmth of love, we eternally grow.
Through every trial, through each storm and snow,
Together we rise, forever aglow.
