Thanks. I ha e seen elk and dust devils but t didn’t want to search for hours for a photo.

Well-wrought! Some spiritual traditions liken the ego to a dust devil, and the proper method of dealing with it often appears just as the Elk in your lovely poem!

I wonder if they're concerned and graze anyway.
Lol, this reminded me of the cats in my neighbourhood. They'll be chilling in the middle of the roads and we need to steer our cars to extreme left or right to avoid hitting them because they wouldn't move an inch 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
