Eclipse

Day and Night

The sparkles in the air beg to be witnessed

Warmth of a thousand flames within the core

Obstruction by the dark moon in coexistence

An anomaly of nature for brief moments in time

Such darkness demands sight

Only to be stolen if witnessed unprotected

Longing to gaze anyhow

Human desire is buried somewhere between beauty and fear

That space leaves much to be discovered in the portal of fire

Wishing to possess, even just in memory

Another fragment to add to our psyche

A reminder of all the “once in a lifetimes”

On nights we transgress mortality

That day and night will always join inevitably

For Funnature poetry

Ooh, this one’s got a great mix of mystery and beauty! I love how it captures the eclipse—kind of like life, a brief but stunning mix of light and dark. Cool vibes!🤗✨
