Eclipse
A acrostic poem with dual meaning of eclipse and world with loss and thinking or reminiscing

Everything in sync, kept in beat like a metronome by my automaton toy, unseen for years
Clockwork motor powering the gears
Lacuna filled with the drumming, the pulse, making it easy to count the seconds while two spheres interfere
Imagining all the previous orbits, wondering if there's an end like the fate of the small drumming automaton, as seconds disappear
Placating the space, whilst appearing
Sun abandoned, briefly, in terms of time and years
Eclipsed only by the loss of the original winder, as all parts continue on to natural states and veneers

Two Grumpy Old Men Solve the Problem
Marty and Steve were two grumpy old men who lived together. They had known each other for years. Marty had been a bachelor all his life. Steve said it was because no one could stand to ever live with. Marty’s standard reply was “Well, you are, so what sort of a moron does that make you!”
