Éclipse

Poem by Sheila Centino

By Sheila CentinoPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

I die every obscurity for you to shine,

You're my one and solely divine

I've eternally wanted to be with you,

but the fate won't let us through

We're made for each other, but we can't be together

I begged to the superior, perceiving you would be plausible

It might bleed for a while, but it doesn't matter

at least we get the chance to meet each other

An eclipse is when our body ignites, complete with intimacy, pretty and bright

Love will never make us blind somewhat. It opens our eyes,

giving our hearts so much delight

I'll see you again, and I will wait 'til then.
