Echoes of the Past

In the shadows of memories,

Where love once burned like fire,

I learned that hearts can shatter,

Yet from the shards, new dreams inspire. You were the storm, I the leaf,

Drifting in winds, lost in the game,

But every fall, every scar,

Made me strong, ignited my flame. We danced in the rain, laughed in the light,

But darkness crept in, colors turned gray,

The lessons that linger are clear and bright,

In the silence of parting, I found my way.

Former dreams, now fleeting mist,

Each wound a step toward the free,

I cherish the love that once was ours,

But treasure the strength that’s now part of me.

So thank you for time and the pain you bestowed,

For the lessons that shaped who I've become,

In the melody of life, my heart now glows,

A new rhythm, a journey begun.
