Echoes of Love: Wrestling with Uncertainty
Navigating the Tumultuous Terrain of Heartache and Hope
In the quiet corners of my soul, I ponder,
Is it okay to love so deeply, I wonder?
To feel it echo through every beat,
Yet fear the pain that love may greet.
A love so vast, it threatens to consume,
Leaving my heart battered, my mind in gloom,
What if something happens, I dare not speak,
What if it leaves me shattered and weak?
The weight of uncertainty bears heavy on my chest,
As thoughts of endings put my soul to test,
What if it doesn't end well, I fear the fall,
The anguish of a love lost, the pain of it all.
In the vast expanse between our hearts,
Lies the chasm of misunderstandings, tearing us apart,
What if there's a gap we fail to bridge,
Forgetting ourselves in the whirlwind, the tempest's ridge?
Yet amidst the doubts that cloud my mind,
I find solace in the love I've intertwined,
For even in the darkest night, I see,
A glimmer of hope, a possibility.
So I'll embrace this love, despite the fears,
And let it wash away the silent tears,
For in loving deeply, I find my truth,
In the labyrinth of love, I find my youth.
