Echoes of Betrayal

Twenty Years of Love, Twenty Years of Lies

As the darkness falls, silhouettes move,

In the depths of deceit, a story unfolds.

A once-strong friendship, now aged twenty years,

Now broken by falsehoods, oh, how incorrect.

Secrets lurked in love's hushed murmurs, Behind fake smiles, lies festered.

Broken and torn promises, once solemn pledges, now lie abandoned.

A bitter flower, grief blossoms

The love garden is where it goes bad.

A precious link ripped, trust broken,

The scars will be healed with the passage of time.

Once they strolled hand in hand, But now their ways separate, and universes clash.

A searing sting, the truth disclosed,

Loose echoes of affection cling to them.

A formal decree, a decree of divorce,

The edict of sadness marks the endings.

Still, fresh beginnings may emerge in the middle of the suffering,

Hope rises from the ashes of treachery.

Love endures despite wounds, In hearts that mend from the rough stains of life.

Light is there to heal and ignite, even while the path ahead seems gloomy.

For in every shattered fragment, there is a beating heart. So, let the tears flow and the mending begin.

Even when you're not sure of the path ahead, standing alone gives you strength.
