The sun once rose in golden hues,
Now casts a shadow, soft, confused.
Whispers of a time long gone,
A memory that fades at dawn.
The stars no longer brightly gleam,
They flicker softly, like a dream.
A heart once full, nows lost in space,
A broken echo, no embrace.
The hands I held, now slip away,
Like grains of sand that cannot stay.
Each step I take, I leave behind
A piece of me I cannot find.
The days grow long, the nights grow colds,
The world turns grey, the stories tolds.
And in the silence, in the rain,
I searchs for peace but find only pain.

Your poem resonates with me. It is compassionate and feels the heart with sadness.
💔😔😢 So sad but yet so real. Love the flow of it as well.
