Echoes Beneath the Morning Sky
Whispers of Love in the Silence of Distance
By heasb001Published 3 months ago • 1 min read

This ghazal captures the quiet ache of distance — the tender, unspoken dialogue between longing and memory. Through dawn’s stillness and whispered dreams, the poet finds solace not in reunion, but in the act of remembering. Love becomes both absence and presence, pain and prayer.
Each dawn, I lift my eyes with yearning true,
To seek the sky, and hide my soul in you.
You’re gone, yet still my restless heart remains,
How can I bear this distance, or its pains?
The breeze carries whispers of your name,
And I return to dreams, where you softly came.
If sorrow shades the moon upon your face,
I’ll wash it clean with tears of tender grace
