echo chamber

within these walls

there you go again

blowing up at me

you accuse me of not trying

you blame me for our disconnect

but have you ever considered this?

how many walls

will you have to break

before you finally come to terms

with my indestructible fortress?

how many lines

will you have to draw

before you finally come to terms

with my complete lack of honesty?

you've forced me onto this pedestal

and I have no intention of saving face

A little vulnerability

feels like fire on gasoline

my skin is burning like hell

can you smell

my charred flesh?

I doused myself and lit the match

can't you see I did it all for you?

why can't you see

this is me being vulnerable too

...hello?

anybody there?

oh it's just me in here

talking to my own shadow again

great acoustics

behind these walls.
