to be alive—to breathe in the autumn breeze under the trees
to bow my head, to thank this world for having me
to extend a hand up to Gaea, pay my respects
to her pristinely crafted world—oh, how the ground
sifts under my feet like a gentle wave
upon the sand as the earth blossoms
continually—sugar sweet droplets of rain,
fall upon this tongue!
please, exude your
gloriously sweet
benevolence!

Evoking imagery of Gaea! Nice! Proper old school! haha back to the elementals, loved the flow and sense of a living world this created! As always my dear, fantastic stuff! Thank you for entering my silly little challenge (twice! haha!)
Uber-fabulous!! BRAVO!
"to bow my head, to thank this world for having me" I like this line.
This was so light and airy, very summery. Great poem!
