The moment our eyes would meet,

And a smile is formed from our lips.

The coy moments of conversation, trying to understand one another,

Considering all that was, all that is, and the potential for what could be.

Those times a chuckle is given with a smile of approval,

While your hands playfully pat my shoulder.

Those times your eyes light up for your hearts desire,

Alongside my heart longing for you, all the more.

With each and every passing day we spend together,

My heart is thankful for such moments,
