Dying Fish

Flip Flopping

By Julie O'Hara - Author, Poet and Spiritual WarriorPublished 3 years ago Updated 3 years ago 1 min read

Like dying fish

Flip flopping and suffocating

In the muddy waters of

Moral relativism

We stubbornly deny the urge to

Do what is right

While feeding the desires

Our entitled minds and

Corrupted flesh wants

It’s a doomed situation

Where no one wins

And we all lose

Only leading to the destruction

Of what we are as Divine beings

The Angels and our Ancestors weep

and shudder

In silence

While the Demons dance in joy

As we nourish their hunger

While they fool us into

Thinking this is what we want
