I write simple sentences with simple lines

Simple truths as it appears in my mind

Simple words, simple statements

Don't particularly adhere to poetry's rules of engagement

The irony of all that is I see it as spiritual

Story of my life, don't follow rules thats my ritual

Something about not being "conformed to this world"

So often find myself re-inventing the wheel

Doing things my own way with my own style thats the appeal

I do have a thing for words something intriguing

Love when other people use them gives a nostalgic feeling

Mainly write for myself to empty my vessel

Pouring out thoughts and feelings of things that I wrestle

From childhood to rehb I have always been a writer

Books with pages upon pages some blank with just titles

Not sure the incentive for making my thoughts public

Smoke signals to another soul service to other addicts
