Swindlers be, and

into the darkness, we march.

Lost sheep to the slaughter,

easy as hating the other guy; the wrong.

Nothing

can prepare you;

Elitism is a silent firing squad. [3, 2, 1…

    Dang!! That final line! I’m both shocked and in awe

    I love how the final line connects to the title!! So clever!! But also... the messaging!! Nothing like some good 'Mob mentality", right? 😤

    The potential for social commentary runs WAAYY deep in this one, Mackenzie! SO much hinted at in so few words and fewer lines! I simply adore it! I hope you got it done in time for the challenge! "Easy as hating the other guy" wow what a fucking cracker of a line! In my personal opinion, this is the second most pure human emotion. That hatred of a defined other. (the first more pure being a sense of community/family) Whew... it is... man I'm going to be thinking about this one all day <3

    Got immediate battle/war/soldier vibes, especially with “Lost sheep to the slaughter”. But then elitism makes me think about social differences, us vs them 🤔 I like the connecting of the end with the title too 👏🏾

    This challenge brought out some interesting ways of thinking. Writing about silence is kind of the opposite of what silence is.
