Drowning in Inspiration

Plausible only to me

Drowning in inspiration while parched for new ideas

Starving for innovation, thoughts barking like hyenas

Overrun with determination and not a thought in sight

Blinded by revelation, but not one word looks right

-

The lines they flow like water, then hit a concrete wall

Begging at the altar of “this sucks, delete all”

Creativity unconfined, yet muzzled like a dog

Aha moment divined while damned by judgement gods

-

Suggestions warmly welcomed, then tossed away like fodder

New musings beckoned, no better than the others

Ingenuity non-existent, intention slowly clears

Brain waves more consistent, going utterly nowhere

-

Impressions overwhelming, none within my reach

Pondering finished product never to be breached

Sudden surge of notion, no resolution promised

Dancing on void concepts, slipping on word vomit

-

Birthing imagination for the entire world to see

Drowning in inspiration, plausible, if only to me

Oh, this is so relatable! Especially just talking to you about having a hard time with the challenge. 😅 You worded this so well. I would say I'm kinda between the "Creativity unconfined, yet muzzled like a dog" and "Begging at the altar of “this sucks, delete all” stages. 🫠 Amazing work!!
