Here,

Take this piece of glass,

Hold it in the palm of your hand.

Now,

Let it slip through your fingers,

Let it crash to the floor and break.

Watch,

Do nothing but watch,

As the glass before you shatters.

Now,

Pick up a broken piece of glass,

Any one you want.

Again,

Let it fall off the safety of your hand,

Let it join the broken pieces on the ground.

Its broken self.

Do you see?

Do you see that piece of glass becoming less and less?

Do you see?

Do you see me becoming less and less?

But,

Keep picking me up,

Keep letting me go,

Keep watching me fall.

You’ve done it before,

You’ll do it again.

So go on, what are you waiting for?

Drop me.
