Skinny and Not.
Beauty or Hot.
Short and tall.
Library or the mall.
Smarts under looks.
Sports over books.
Look down deeper.
They might be a keeper.
Just because they're different,
It makes them not worth it?
Flawless and Wrong.
Weak or Strong.
Glasses and Make-up.
Tank-tops or Button-ups.
Dream and Goal.
Heart or soul.
Those scars are your story.
They tell how you’ve survived,
Everyone has a battle,
And yours may seem worse.
You’re a star,
And a hero.
You’ll get far,
But you start at zero.
White and Black.
Good and Bad.
Young and Old.
In and Out.
Light and Dark.
Up and Down.
Whisper and Yell.
No and Yes.
I see no difference.
Just have patience.
Everyone has a body.
Some like to show it,
Others like to cover to it.
So if they show it,
They're perfect?
And if they don’t,
They’re a joke?
HA!
Sing and Dance.
Walk and Prance.
Past and Future.
Phone or Computer.
Laugh and Smile.
Just go wild.
It’s your body.
No one else’s.
