Drink Up

I'm just being real; no filter.

By Kat GarciaPublished 7 years ago 1 min read

All I wanted for my birthday was a spa day to reduce the stress

Instead I was dealt a shit weekend babysitting your drunk mess

If your job is to never hold your word then I think you have a success

Of course you apologized, so it’s supposed to be okay, so nevertheless

Let’s forget about the past let’s just move on to the future

I can promise you your birthday weekend will go a lot smoother

That’s because I don’t hold the spite you do, I’ll act a lot cooler

I’ll ignore you while you dive into the deep end of the boozer

I’ll let you act a fool cuz who am I to really judge

I’ll let you do what you want cuz I won’t be the one to hold a grudge

And honestly I’ll let you drink all you want, you decide what’s too much

Cuz I’m done babysitting, I just wont deal with such

sad poetry
