Dreams

And Illusion

By Kelli Sheckler-AmsdenPublished about a year ago 1 min read
Moon Maiden

If I could find the place you hurt

Then I might find me too

If I could find the perfect words

No-one has said to you

If time could rewrite history

Then change might stand a chance

In unraveling the mystery

And joining in the dance

A curtsy and a little wink

Twirling underneath your glow

With little care what others think

Our feelings start to show

Pirouettes in moonlight

Tête-à-têtes and such

Pure magic until daylight

Truth revealed in a touch

Broken hearts are mended

And tears are wiped away

All too soon it’s ended

As the night bleeds into day

There is something magical about this one, even with a touch of sadness.
