You

At nights we dream our cares away.
Encapsuled in each other, love, where we lay.
All trace of you and I smothered to death, and
Remained only us, united as a single breath.

I remember as though it were yesterday,
How your eyes met mine that winter's day.
In that instant, a world of flowers bloomed.
You were the goddess Spring, the cold of winter's doom.

Your lips be like tropical fruit.
Sweeter berries grow from deeper roots.
Sweeter than heaven's choicest wine, satisfying.
The essence of your kiss, leaves me crying.

Would angels sing a serenade for me.
I would trade it not now, not ever, for thee.
For your voice makes the harp sound dull.
Parents and babes alike fall into a slumber, when you sing a lull..

Playing tag in the meadows at spring.
Gazing at the stars, wrapped in Jove's wing.
Enchanting your body with a single touch.
Never have I felt this way, not loved so much.

Oh how I hate my waking hour.
If only I could overcome it's power.
I'd spend all day beneath love's shower.
With you in my arms. My. dream lover.
