Dream Log #6

A dream I had at Christmas

It should have been a beautiful dream on a beautiful day

Ambient skies and velvet sheets surrounded by bubbles

The bubbles never popped, they bounced and flew

In this heaven-like watery state was me and my friend

A romantic landscape, but only in appearance

His hands around my neck as he pounds me

On the floor just how he did before and you're silenced

Afterwards he leans over and kisses me

Something that felt too dark and real

If your best friend does not believe you

When you say you've been raped

Why would a stranger, or policeman,

bother to lend an ear?
