Sombre Christmas

My Christmas got ruined cause my best friend blocked me after I called him out.

All the presents and best wishes in the world dosen’t take the pain away.

You can skip meals and sleep, run around doing errands, play their games.

It still isn’t enough for these people.

The friends that refuse to talk to you cause your feelings don’t matter to them.

The friends that don’t listen or understand cause they think the people that abuse you are saints.

The friends that are no longer here, the ones that had your back for years. Their passing meant Christmas was a reminder that they’re no longer there.

Then I remembered the friends that understood, listened and cared.

The ones that were there for years.

Where the door was always open.

The ones that you can walk with

The ones you end up twinning with

I know the ones that cut me off they will

Come crawling back the moment they want something

My Christmas was fixed!

I am always grateful for the friends who are always there for you. This is a great reminder what a true friendship means and the difference between acquaintance. Happy New Year Chloe. Sorry our collaboration is taking so long. My brain is in a fog zone this holiday.

  • If they are not there for you when you need them, they are not friends, just people you know. I feel for you
