A dream-catcher I must weave,

To capture visions in my sleep.

A world of wonder I receive,

As into the dreamland I leap.

Last night, I wandered through a field,

Of flowers tall and bright.

Their beauty made my heart unsealed,

And filled me with delight.

I saw a rainbow in the sky,

With colors bold and true.

And birds that flew so high,

Beneath a sky of blue.

But then a storm began to brew,

And lightning lit the sky.

The flowers wilted, their petals few,

And all around me was awry.

But then I woke up from my dream,

And found myself in bed.

The dream-catcher caught every scene,

That played inside my head.

And though the storm did make me fear,

I'm glad I caught it all.

For even storms can bring good cheer,

And make our dreams stand tall.
