What’s it like to feel nothing at all?

To stare at the world, feeling so small

No joy or sorrow to stir up inside

Emotions all muted, no place to reside

Life becomes a monotonous haze

A never-ending cycle without any grace

No highs to lift you up to the sky

No lows to make you breakdown and cry

Every day passes by in a blur

No pain or pleasure, no things to deter

A life without feelings may seem appealing

But in the end, it's empty and unappealing

So hold onto your emotions, big and small

They make you human, they make you stand tall

For a life without feeling, no highs or lows

Is a life that's barren, with nothing to behold.
