Downfalls

Downfalls

Society today has become ill for power

With the poisonous bacteria of greed

Infecting the cells of citizen minds

To hazardous levels of the obscene

Introducing promising substances

In hopes of curing certain obligations

When in fact they are in delusion

And are free from emancipation

Well when these remedies don't work

There's always some other thing

Somehow to fill the unhappy voids in life

Or to obtain what they are craving

All in all, the root of all this evil

Lies greedily behind goals of money

The only thing that can buy anything

But tends to send happiness running

These are the most appealing infections

Sex, Money, Drugs and Control

What do they all have in common

They are the beginnings of all downfalls

About the Creator

Thomas F

I was shot in the face at point blank range with a double barrel 12 gage during an strong arm robbery that quickly turned into an Attempted Murder. Although I'm missing my right eye and a bullet in my brain. I AM STILL ME & I AM STILL HERE
